Job Overview

Saint Andrew’s International High School is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Teacher to join its academic faculty in Blantyre. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting student learning, and maintaining high educational standards.

The successful candidate will create an interactive classroom environment, apply modern teaching techniques, and work closely with students to help them achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned classroom lessons.

Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and teaching materials.

Assess student performance through tests, projects, and class participation.

Maintain effective classroom management and student discipline.

Provide academic mentoring and guidance to students.

Integrate digital learning tools and educational technology into teaching.

Participate in school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities.

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and academic programs.

Prepare student reports and progress evaluations.

Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and active learning.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant subject specialization.

3–5 years teaching experience in a primary or secondary school.

Knowledge of teaching strategies, curriculum development, and assessment methods.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to integrate educational technology into classroom instruction.

Salary & Benefits

💰 Annual Salary: USD $2,600 – $3,700
