Job Overview
The Petroleum Contracts Manager will lead the drafting, negotiation, and administration of all commercial and legal agreements related to fuel supply, distribution, and ancillary services. Reporting to the Head of Legal, the role ensures that contracts comply with local regulations, corporate policies, and TotalEnergies’ global standards. Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate supply, distribution, and service contracts in alignment with corporate guidelines.

- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for contractual exposures.
- Maintain a centralized contract repository and ensure timely renewals and amendments.
- Provide legal advice on regulatory changes affecting the oil & gas sector in Malawi.
- Lead contract dispute resolution and liaise with external counsel when necessary.
- Support senior management in strategic negotiations and partnership development.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Commercial Law, or a related discipline is required.
