Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our Accessibility Team in Mangochi, Malawi. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services are accessible to people with disabilities, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address accessibility issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct accessibility audits and testing of our products and services
  • Identify and prioritize accessibility issues and develop solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement accessibility features and fixes
  • Develop and maintain accessibility guidelines and standards
  • Provide training and support to employees on accessibility best practices

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Section 508)
  • Experience with accessibility testing tools and techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

5-7 years of experience in accessibility or related field

Salary

50000 – 70000 SSP per annum
