Job Overview
The Senior Robotics Automation Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced robotic systems for our industrial clients. This role is critical for driving the digital transformation of manufacturing plants across the region. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of automation projects, from initial conceptualization and simulation to on-site installation and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex robotic automation systems using advanced CAD and simulation software.
- Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).
- Lead the integration of robotic arms and automated guided vehicles (AGVs) into existing production lines.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of automated systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex automation failures.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and technical documentation for large-scale installations.
Required Skills
- Expertise in industrial programming languages such as Structured Text, Ladder Logic, and Function Block Diagram.
- Advanced proficiency in robotic simulation tools and digital twin technology.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols including Profinet, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities for complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead technical teams.
Education
A Master of Science in Robotics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering is required. A PhD in a related field is highly advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate a strong academic background in control systems and machine learning applications in industrial settings.
Experience
Applicants must possess a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation or robotics engineering. Proven experience in managing large-scale automation projects from design to commissioning is essential. We are looking for individuals who have successfully implemented automated solutions in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
Salary
