Job Overview

The Junior Market Research Analyst will support senior researchers in designing, executing, and reporting on primary and secondary research studies across various sectors, including FMCG, telecommunications, and financial services. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of research proposals, questionnaires, and discussion guides.
  • Conduct fieldwork coordination, including recruiting respondents and managing data collection logistics.
  • Perform data entry, cleaning, and validation using tools such as Excel, SPSS, or Nielsen’s proprietary platforms.
  • Support senior analysts in statistical analysis, trend identification, and insight generation.
  • Prepare draft reports, visualizations, and presentation decks for internal review and client delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of research processes to ensure reproducibility and compliance with industry standards.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand research objectives and provide status updates.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel; familiarity with statistical software (SPSS, R, or Python) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to convey complex data in clear, concise language.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of market research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative).

Education
