Work & Experience
Key Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Monitoring and Data Management Support the implementation of project monitoring and evaluation frameworks in line with donor and organizational requirements. Ensure accurate and timely collection, verification, and entry of program data from supported facilities and community activities. Maintain program databases and ensure data quality through regular data validation and verification exercises. Monitor program indicators and track progress toward targets. 2. Data Analysis and Reporting Analyze routine program data to generate insights that inform program planning and performance improvement. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal management and donors. Develop data summaries, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders. 3. Data Quality Assurance Conduct regular data quality assessments (DQAs) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of reported data. Provide feedback to health facilities and program teams on data quality issues and support corrective actions. Ensure compliance with national health information systems and reporting standards. 4. Capacity Building Train and mentor program staff and health facility workers in data collection tools, reporting procedures, and data use for decision-making. Support implementation teams in understanding indicators and monitoring program performance. 5. Support Program Evaluation and Research Participate in program evaluations, operational research, and assessments when required. Assist in developing data collection tools, research protocols, and evaluation reports. 6. Coordination and Collaboration Work closely with program staff, district health offices, and partners to ensure proper reporting and utilization of program data. Key Duties & Responsibilities: • Registering patients and recording details in the registers. • Aggregate key data elements in the registers and provide aggregated data sheet showing performance of each section/department • Supporting Existing HIV systems e.g. emastercards and POC data and report generation • Preparing and updating graphs and charts for key health indicators. • Preparing monthly ART Cohort reports and present the reports to facility management team • Perform monthly and when necessary daily and weekly monitoring and disseminate information to relevant health facility staff and other stakeholders • Training HSAs and other health workers in data collection and report writing • Planning and Monitoring Evaluation & Research activities at facility level through coordination of monthly facility reviews • Maintaining database at facility level such as data cleaning • Reporting to the designated supervisor and Assistant Statistician at District Health Office
Key Duties & Responsibilities: • Conduct routine environmental health inspections of households, institutions, markets, food premises, and public facilities. • Enforcing public health laws, regulations, and sanitation standards. • Monitoring water quality and sanitation facilities in communities and institutions. • Inspecting and certifying food premises and food handlers to ensure food safety compliance. • Investigating environmental health complaints and public health nuisances. • Lead disease prevention and control activities related to sanitation and hygiene. • Supporting outbreak investigations and response (e.g., cholera, diarrheal diseases). • Promoting hygiene and sanitation behavior change through community education and campaigns. • Facilitating community-led total sanitation (CLTS) and other WASH programs. • Conducting health and safety risk assessments in public places and workplaces. • Monitoring waste management practices, including medical and domestic waste disposal. • Supporting vector control activities (mosquitoes, rodents, flies, etc.). • Train and supervise Health Surveillance Assistants (HSAs) and community volunteers. • Collecting, compiling, and reporting environmental health data to district health office. • Participating in district and community health planning meetings. • Collaborating with local authorities and other sectors on environmental health initiatives. • Conducting inspections of schools and institutions for sanitation and hygiene standards. • Issue notices and recommendations for correction of public health hazards.
