Reidwel Nyirenda

I currently serve as a Project Geologist with Sovereign Metals Limited, where I have played a leading role in the discovery and advancement of the Kasiya Rutile-Graphite Project, one of the world's largest natural rutile deposits. My responsibilities include planning and supervising regional exploration programs, geological mapping, hand auger and drilling campaigns, geological logging, resource targeting, Quality Assurance & Quality Control management, geological database management, technical reporting, and mentoring multidisciplinary geological teams.

Prior to my current position, I worked with Globe Metals & Mining Limited, contributing to the Kanyika Niobium Project and rare earth exploration projects across Malawi. Earlier in my career, I served as a Geologist with the Geological Survey Department of Malawi, where I gained valuable experience in regional geological mapping, mineral occurrence evaluation, and World Bank Funded Airborne Geophysical Survey Planning.
