Role Overview
The Industrial Maintenance & Engineering Systems Engineer will support the company’s engineering and technical operations by maintaining and improving machinery, automation systems, and industrial infrastructure across Press Corporation’s subsidiaries. This role focuses on ensuring high uptime, safety, and energy efficiency of operational facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Reliability Engineering
Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans for industrial machinery and systems.
Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and preventative actions to minimize equipment downtime.
Supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate maintenance schedules across facilities.
Mechanical & Electrical Systems Support
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems including motors, drives, pumps, HVAC, and control panels.
Maintain equipment documentation, spare parts inventory, and technical manuals.
Oversee installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.
Automation & Control Systems Integration
Support automation systems including PLC/DCS control interfaces, sensors, and data collection devices.
Collaborate with IT and operations teams to integrate industrial monitoring solutions.
Implement automation improvements to increase performance and safety.
Safety, Compliance, & Documentation
Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across engineering operations.
Prepare engineering reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.
Support internal audits of plant systems and engineering processes.
Continuous Improvement & Optimization
Identify opportunities for process optimization, energy savings, and cost reduction.
Assist in engineering projects related to facility upgrades, system enhancements, and new equipment deployment.
Qualifications
• Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• Experience:
3–5 years of relevant engineering experience in industrial, manufacturing, or technical environments.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial automation platforms.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical diagrams.
Experience with PLC programming, control systems, and sensor integration is a plus.
Working knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and reliability engineering principles.
