Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for country operations.
  • Develop and execute annual and multi-year country strategies.
  • Manage large-scale development and humanitarian programs.

About the Role

Education Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in International Development, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Management, Political Science, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory.
  • Executive Leadership certifications are highly desirable.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive management experience.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large donor-funded projects.
  • Experience working in Africa within international NGOs, UN agencies, or multinational organizations.
  • Strong financial management and operational leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and partnership development.
