We are currently seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Procurement Specialist to join our growing team in Mzuzu. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize procurement costs and supply reliability.
- Manage high-value vendor relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Negotiate complex contracts and service level agreements with international and local suppliers.
- Analyze market trends and price fluctuations to inform procurement decisions and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of essential commodities.
- Oversee compliance with local and international trade regulations and company procurement policies.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior procurement officers to achieve departmental goals.

Education

Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the wholesale, distribution, or FMCG sectors. Proven experience in managing large-scale budgets and international vendor relations is essential for success in this role.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 850,000 SSP to 1,200,000 SSP, depending on experience and qualifications.
