This post graduate programme provided a strong grounding in macroeconomic concepts through Macroeconomic Theory and Economic Growth and Development, alongside Institutional and Behavioral Economics, and included applied policy analysis exercises assessing fiscal, monetary and growth-related scenarios. This was paired with rigorous econometric methods training, which I applied directly in my Master's thesis to model the economic welfare effects of an agricultural policy question. Together, this gives me both the conceptual macroeconomic foundation and the applied policy-analysis orientation this role requires.
