Firstly, with a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics, I have developed strong analytical, research, and policy evaluation skills that are directly relevant to the Policy Analyst position at the Reserve Bank of Malawi.

Fair enough, In my role as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the Centre for the Development of People (CEDEP), I designed and implemented monitoring frameworks, collected and analyzed quantitative and qualitative data, prepared analytical reports, and provided evidence-based recommendations to support strategic decision-making and policy implementation.

Impressively, as a Research Enumerator with the Lilongwe District Council, I conducted socio-economic surveys, ensured data quality, analyzed field data, and contributed to research reports that informed development planning and public policy decisions.

Notably, my experience as an Electronic Management Device (EMD) Operator with the Malawi Electoral Commission strengthened my ability to manage sensitive data, ensure data accuracy, comply with established procedures, and work effectively under pressure while maintaining confidentiality.

In addition, my academic training in economics has equipped me with knowledge of macroeconomics, monetary economics, econometrics, public finance, development economics, and statistical analysis. I am proficient in SPSS, STATA, R, Microsoft Excel, and other data analysis tools used for economic research and policy analysis.

Interestingly, I  possess strong analytical thinking, policy research, report writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. I am committed to producing high-quality, evidence-based analysis that supports sound monetary policy, financial sector development, and economic growth in Malawi.
