Job Overview

The Agricultural Specialist will play a key role in supporting the development of Malawi’s agricultural sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze agricultural data and develop policy recommendations to improve agricultural productivity and food security
  • Develop and implement projects to support the development of Malawi’s agricultural sector
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations
  • Provide technical assistance to farmers and agricultural extension agents
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress and impact

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in agricultural development, policy analysis, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders

Education
