Job Overview

The Construction Project Controls Manager will lead the planning, cost estimating, scheduling, and performance monitoring functions for all major construction initiatives at LafargeHolcim Malawi. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring alignment with scope, resources, and milestones.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for each construction project.
  • Implement and oversee project control tools, dashboards, and performance metrics to track progress, cost variance, and schedule adherence.
  • Conduct regular variance analysis, identify root causes of deviations, and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
  • Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to ensure timely release of funds and procurement of materials in line with project timelines.
  • Facilitate risk assessments, develop mitigation plans, and maintain a risk register for all active projects.
  • Lead weekly and monthly project control meetings, presenting clear and concise status reports to stakeholders.
