Job Overview

The Construction Project Controls Manager will lead the planning, cost estimating, scheduling, and performance monitoring functions for all major construction initiatives at LafargeHolcim Malawi. Reporting to the Head of Project Management Office, the role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring alignment with scope, resources, and milestones.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for each construction project.
• Implement and oversee project control tools, dashboards, and performance metrics to track progress, cost variance, and schedule adherence.
• Conduct regular variance analysis, identify root causes of deviations, and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
• Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to ensure timely release of funds and procurement of materials in line with project timelines.
• Facilitate risk assessments, develop mitigation plans, and maintain a risk register for all active projects.
• Lead weekly and monthly project control meetings, presenting clear and concise status reports to stakeholders.
