Job Overview
The Digital Payments Product Manager will lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of FNB Malawi’s digital payment solutions, including mobile wallets, QR code payments, and API‑based services for merchants. Reporting to the Head of Digital Banking, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams—technology, risk, compliance, marketing, and operations—to design, launch, and optimize products that meet the evolving needs of customers in Malawi. Key Responsibilities
- Define product vision, roadmap, and strategy for digital payment offerings aligned with business goals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the Malawi payments landscape.
- Lead the design and development of new payment features, ensuring compliance with local regulations and security standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, and data analytics teams to deliver high‑quality, user‑centric solutions.
- Manage product backlog, prioritize features, and oversee agile sprint cycles.
- Monitor product performance metrics, analyze user feedback, and implement continuous improvements.
- Coordinate go‑to‑market strategies, including pricing, promotion, and partner integration.
