Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze electricity, natural gas, and petroleum price movements across regional exchanges.
- Develop and maintain quantitative models for price forecasting, risk assessment, and profit optimization.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly market reports for senior management and trading desks.
- Collaborate with the risk management team to identify, quantify, and mitigate market and credit risks.
- Support trade execution by providing real‑time market intelligence and pricing recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal trading policies.
- Participate in cross‑functional meetings to align trading strategies with corporate financial goals.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, VBA, and statistical software (e.g., R, Python).

Education

Candidates must have a minimum of five years of professional experience in energy trading, commodity risk analysis, or financial markets.
