Job Overview

The Senior Civil Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and oversight of major infrastructure projects in the Nsanje district. This role is critical for ensuring that all engineering works meet international standards of safety, durability, and environmental sustainability. You will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams, managing complex technical specifications, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

Education

A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline is mandatory. Professional registration with the relevant engineering board is highly preferred. Candidates with advanced degrees or specialized certifications in Project Management will be given preference.

Experience

A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to completion. Experience working in challenging terrains or developing regions is a significant advantage. Candidates should demonstrate experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Salary
