Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the end-to-end customs clearance process for diverse cargo types.
• Ensure strict adherence to Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) regulations and international trade laws.
• Prepare and verify complex shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and Commercial Invoices.
• Liaise with customs officials to resolve discrepancies and expedite the release of shipments.
• Advise clients on tariff classifications, duty rates, and regulatory requirements to prevent delays.
• Monitor changes in international trade policies and implement necessary procedural updates.
• Conduct regular audits of brokerage files to ensure 100% compliance and accuracy.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of direct experience in customs brokerage or international freight forwarding. Salary
