Job Overview
The Senior Hospitality Revenue Manager will play a critical role in maximizing the financial performance of our hotel properties through strategic pricing, inventory management, and market analysis. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize total hotel revenue.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust pricing and promotional offers dynamically.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align revenue strategies with seasonal demand and promotional campaigns.
- Analyze booking data and historical trends to forecast demand and optimize room inventory.
- Prepare detailed monthly reports on key performance indicators including occupancy rates, ADR, and RevPAR.
- Manage distribution channels and ensure pricing consistency across all online and offline platforms.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in revenue management software and Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various departmental heads.
- Deep understanding of the hospitality market dynamics in Southern Africa.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required. Professional certification in Revenue Management is highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess at least 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in revenue management or commercial hotel operations, preferably within a luxury hotel environment. Proven track record of increasing profitability through strategic pricing is essential.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 850,000 SSP to 1,200,000 SSP, depending on experience and performance metrics.
