Job Overview
The Corporate Treasury Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing the bank’s liquidity, funding, and risk mitigation strategies. Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the analyst will support daily cash positioning, foreign exchange operations, and the execution of short‑term investment strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash balances across all accounts and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Execute foreign exchange transactions, manage FX risk, and maintain accurate records of all currency movements.
- Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts, identifying potential shortfalls and recommending corrective actions.
- Assist in the management of short‑term investment portfolios, including money market instruments and government securities.
- Support the preparation of regulatory reports related to liquidity, capital adequacy, and treasury activities.
- Collaborate with the Risk Management team to assess market, credit, and operational risks associated with treasury operations.
- Provide timely treasury insights to senior management and business units to facilitate informed decision‑making.
- Maintain and enhance treasury management systems, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.
- Participate in the development of new treasury products and services aimed at corporate clients.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, Basel III requirements, and local regulatory frameworks.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Knowledge of treasury management systems (e.g., Kyriba, Murex) and banking software.
- Understanding of foreign exchange markets, money market instruments, and liquidity risk.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder interaction.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Education
The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline. Professional certifications such as the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience
A minimum of three to five years of hands‑on experience in corporate treasury, cash management, or related financial operations is required. Prior experience within a multinational bank or financial institution operating in Africa will be considered a strong asset.
Salary
