The Senior Investment Analyst will play a critical role in our Corporate and Investment Banking division. The ideal candidate will possess a sophisticated understanding of macroeconomic trends, equity markets, and debt instruments. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and valuation of potential investment targets using DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.

- Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee, highlighting risks, returns, and strategic alignment.

- Deep knowledge of Malawi and regional East African capital markets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for high-level stakeholder engagement.
- Strong command of Bloomberg Terminal, Excel (VBA/Macros), and other financial data tools.

Education
Candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a professional certification such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or ACCA is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage during the selection process.
Experience
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or equity research is required. Proven experience in managing complex financial projects and presenting to executive-level committees is essential. Salary
