Work & Experience
As the program manager reporting to the Executive Director, I am responsible for providing strategic leadership in the design, implementation, and evaluation of participatory programmes that advance sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for marginalized women and girls by translating organizational strategy into effective, high-quality, donor-funded interventions and ensuring excellence in programme delivery, monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
As the Radio, Advocacy, and Communications Lead, reporting to the Leadership team and the programs coordinator, I was responsible for leading and managing the creative and technical development and delivery of the organization’s educational radio project, advocacy, and communications. Delivering over 800 Tisinthe (Let’s change) live interactive radio broadcasts and establishing over 600 radio listeners’ clubs in 24 districts of Malawi (92% of Malawi’s districts). Developing and producing over 800 interactive radio drama episodes and leading the community mobilization and engagement strategies and approaches.
Reporting to the head teacher, I was responsible for classroom teaching and supporting the learning process of learners from various backgrounds. I worked in various schools for a period of six years.
