Job Overview

The AI Solutions Architect will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced artificial intelligence solutions for enterprise clients across Malawi and the Southern Africa region. Key Responsibilities

  • Architect end‑to‑end AI solutions that address client business objectives, ensuring alignment with Microsoft’s best practices.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python, R, or Java for AI model development.
  • Hands‑on experience with Azure AI services, including Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and Bot Framework.
  • Strong understanding of machine‑learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and data engineering concepts.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Project management experience with Agile methodologies.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Minimum of five years of professional experience designing and implementing AI solutions in enterprise environments. Demonstrated success in delivering AI projects on Azure, with a portfolio of case studies or published work is preferred.

Salary

The competitive salary range for this position is SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 4,000,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be offered.
