Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive safety audits of aircraft maintenance and flight operations to ensure compliance with international aviation standards.
• Develop and implement detailed audit checklists and reporting frameworks for regional aviation hubs.
• Identify systemic risks in operational procedures and provide actionable recommendations for mitigation.
• Collaborate with local regulatory authorities to ensure all operations meet Malawi’s civil aviation requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical reports regarding audit findings and track the implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitor emerging safety trends and integrate best practices into existing safety management systems.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) standards and regulations.

Education

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of direct experience in aviation safety auditing, quality assurance, or aircraft maintenance management within a large-scale international organization. Proven experience in regulatory compliance and risk assessment is essential for this role.

Salary
