Job Overview

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of the bank’s CSR strategy in Malawi. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, the manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies to drive initiatives that promote financial inclusion, education, health, and environmental stewardship. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive CSR strategy aligned with the bank’s ESG goals and local development priorities.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize community projects in areas such as financial literacy, youth empowerment, climate resilience, and health promotion.
• Manage relationships with NGOs, government agencies, and community leaders to ensure collaborative project delivery.
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and reporting for all CSR initiatives, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, or community development, preferably within the banking or financial services sector. Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 1,200,000 to SSP 1,800,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be provided.
