Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Systems Designer to join our specialized engineering team in Mzimba. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed fluid power simulations to validate system performance and efficiency.
  • Select appropriate hydraulic components including pumps, valves, cylinders, and motors.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are optimized for production.
  • Conduct field testing and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems on prototype machinery.
  • Analyze failure modes and implement design improvements to increase component longevity.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Deep knowledge of hydraulic circuit theory and fluid mechanics.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical modeling capabilities.
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and schematics.

Education

A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Power Engineering, or a closely related technical field is mandatory. Candidates with specialized certifications in hydraulic design will be given preference.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in hydraulic system design or heavy machinery engineering is required. Salary
