Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN solutions to protect core network assets.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and remediate security gaps.
  • Monitor network traffic using SIEM tools, analyze alerts, and coordinate incident response activities.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in line with industry best practices and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with network engineers to integrate security controls into new infrastructure projects and upgrades.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams on security awareness and best practices.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of security architectures, configurations, and incident reports.
  • Participate in audit preparations and support compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001 and local telecom regulations.

Required Skills

  • Deep knowledge of network security protocols, encryption standards, and secure routing.
  • Hands‑on experience with firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
  • Proficiency in SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and log analysis.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, MPLS, LTE/5G network architectures.
  • Ability to conduct forensic investigations and produce clear incident reports.

Education
