Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with local government agencies to inform water management policies in the Ntchowe region.
  • Lead field expeditions to collect critical hydrological data in diverse terrains.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in numerical modeling software such as MODFLOW, SWAT, or HEC-RAS.

Education

A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, or a closely related Earth Science discipline is required. A PhD is highly preferred for this senior-level position.

Experience

Candidates must possess at least 7 years of professional experience in hydrological modeling, preferably within an international NGO or environmental research institution. Proven experience in managing large-scale environmental projects is essential for this role.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 1,200,000 SSP to 2,500,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and technical proficiency.
