Job Overview
We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead our sourcing operations in the Mzuzu region. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that drive cost savings and supply security.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists to ensure operational excellence.
- Negotiate complex, high-value contracts with international and local suppliers.
- Conduct regular market analysis to anticipate price fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure seamless inventory flow.

- Monitor and report on procurement KPIs, including cost variance and supplier performance.

Education
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is highly preferred.
Experience
A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management is required. At least 3 of these years must be in a senior management or leadership capacity within a large-scale manufacturing or distribution organization. Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets and leading diverse teams is essential for this job vacancy in Malawi.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 1,200,000 SSP to 2,500,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and performance during the interview process.
