Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecommunications Network Engineer to join our technical team in Mzuzu. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity, performance, and expansion of our mobile and data networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex network architectures to ensure maximum uptime and high-speed connectivity for our vast subscriber base. This is a high-impact role that requires deep technical expertise and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and network evolution. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable network architectures to support increasing data demands.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex network outages and performance issues.
• Optimize radio and core network parameters to enhance signal quality and user experience.
• Lead the deployment of new base stations and network hardware upgrades.
• Conduct regular network audits and performance monitoring to ensure compliance with international standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new digital services into the existing infrastructure.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee technical installations by third-party contractors.

Education
