Key Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental impact assessments for new renewable energy projects.
• Monitor compliance with Malawian environmental laws and international sustainability standards.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies for permits, audits, and reporting requirements.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans for construction and operational phases.
• Engage with local communities to address environmental concerns and promote conservation practices.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in environmental compliance for energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Malawi’s environmental regulations and ISO 14001 standards.

• Excellent stakeholder communication and conflict resolution abilities.
• Fluency in English and Chichewa.

Education

Experience

Salary
