Job Overview
The Senior Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst will play a critical role in our security operations, specifically focusing on identifying emerging threats and analyzing adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). This role is essential for proactive defense, ensuring that our security protocols evolve as quickly as the threats themselves. You will be responsible for synthesizing complex data into actionable intelligence that can be used to protect our clients and internal infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor global threat feeds and dark web forums to identify emerging cyber threats targeting specific industries.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of malware samples and adversary behavior to develop high-fidelity indicators of compromise (IoCs).
- Produce comprehensive intelligence reports that detail the motivations, capabilities, and targets of various threat actors.
- Collaborate with the Incident Response team to provide real-time intelligence during active security breaches.
- Develop and refine detection rules for our automated security platforms based on newly discovered TTPs.
- Participate in continuous research regarding zero-day vulnerabilities and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in malware analysis and reverse engineering techniques.
- Expert knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and how to map adversary behaviors.
- Strong capability in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automating data collection.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to executive leadership.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating system internals, and cloud security architectures.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is mandatory. Advanced certifications such as GIAC (GCIH, GCFA, or GREM) or CISSP are highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in cybersecurity operations, specifically within a threat intelligence or incident response capacity. Proven experience in analyzing large-scale datasets and identifying patterns in sophisticated cyberattacks is essential. Salary
