Job Overview
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will play a pivotal role in our Security Operations Center (SOC). This position is designed for a highly skilled professional who can proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate complex security threats. You will be responsible for monitoring our network environments, conducting deep-dive forensic investigations, and implementing robust defense mechanisms to protect our clients and internal assets. As a senior member of the team, you will lead incident response efforts and provide strategic guidance on security architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security is integrated into every layer of our technological deployment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex incident response investigations to identify the root cause of security breaches.
- Perform continuous vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across diverse network infrastructures.
- Develop and implement advanced threat detection rules and automated response playbooks.
- Collaborate with network engineers to design secure-by-design architectures for new deployments.
- Provide expert-level technical guidance to junior analysts and stakeholders during critical security events.
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to international standards.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in SIEM, EDR, and IDS/IPS technologies.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing, and switching security.
- Expertise in malware analysis and forensic investigation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure situations.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a closely related field is mandatory. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, preferably within a managed security service provider (MSSP) or a large-scale enterprise environment. Proven experience in managing large-scale network security incidents is essential for this role.
Salary
