The Senior Cybersecurity Forensic Investigator will play a critical role in our rapid-response team, specializing in deep-dive digital investigations following complex security breaches. This role involves reconstructing cyberattacks, identifying the root cause of intrusions, and providing actionable intelligence to mitigate future risks. As a key member of our technical team, you will handle high-stakes investigations that require extreme precision and technical mastery. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex digital forensic investigations to identify the scope and impact of security breaches.
  • Perform deep-dive memory, disk, and network forensics to reconstruct adversary movements.
  • Analyze malware artifacts and reverse-engineer malicious code to understand attack vectors.
  • Collaborate with global threat intelligence teams to correlate local incidents with global trends.
  • Develop and implement advanced forensic methodologies to improve response times.
  • Provide expert testimony and detailed technical reports for legal and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in advanced digital forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, or Magnet AXIOM.
  • Deep understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS kernel-level operations.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for forensic automation.
  • Advanced knowledge of network protocols and traffic analysis (Wireshark, Zeek).
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure scenarios.

Education

A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field is required. Candidates with specialized certifications such as GCFA, GCFE, or EnCE will be given significant preference.

Experience

A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in digital forensics, incident response, or advanced threat hunting is mandatory. Proven experience in managing large-scale breach investigations in enterprise environments is essential.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 1,500,000 SSP to 2,800,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and technical proficiency.
