Job Overview

The Automotive Supply Chain Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing end‑to‑end supply chain processes for Toyota Tsusho Malawi. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the analyst will monitor inventory levels, analyze demand patterns, and coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of parts while minimizing costs. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand for automotive parts across the southern district.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by implementing safety stock calculations and reorder point strategies.
• Collaborate with international suppliers to track shipment status, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with import regulations.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule inbound and outbound transportation, optimizing routes to reduce lead times and freight costs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly supply chain performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as fill rate, order cycle time, and inventory turnover.
• Identify process bottlenecks and propose data‑driven improvements to enhance supply chain resilience.
• Support the implementation of ERP modules related to inventory and procurement, ensuring accurate data migration and user training.
• Work closely with the sales and service departments to align supply plans with promotional activities and after‑sales service demands.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
• Understanding of automotive parts lifecycle and supply chain best practices.

Education
