Job Overview

The Project Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in structuring, evaluating, and managing financing solutions for renewable energy projects across Malawi. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial modeling and feasibility analysis for solar, wind, hydro, and hybrid energy projects.
• Prepare comprehensive credit proposals, risk assessments, and investment memoranda for senior management and investment committees.
• Coordinate due‑diligence processes, liaising with legal, technical, and environmental advisors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Structure financing solutions, including debt, equity, and blended finance mechanisms, tailored to project-specific risk profiles.
• Monitor portfolio performance, track key financial metrics, and prepare periodic reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support negotiations with lenders, investors, and government agencies to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Stay abreast of market trends, policy developments, and emerging financing instruments in the renewable energy sector.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Excel and specialized finance software.
