Job Overview
The Retail Operations Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing store performance across Shoprite’s network in Malawi. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the analyst will leverage data analytics, process improvement techniques, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive sales growth, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales, inventory, and foot‑traffic data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards that provide actionable insights to store managers and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with merchandising, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure optimal product assortment and stock levels.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess operational compliance, visual merchandising standards, and customer service quality.
- Recommend process enhancements, technology integrations, and training initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce shrinkage.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports summarizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of promotional campaigns and evaluate their impact on sales and profitability.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate data-driven projections.
