Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale field trials to test new seed varieties and fertilizer applications.
- Analyze soil health and crop performance data to provide actionable insights for local farmers.
- Develop and deliver training programs for field technicians and local agricultural cooperatives.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure crop quality meets international export standards.
- Monitor local weather patterns and pest outbreaks to provide early warning systems for farmers.
- Lead the implementation of sustainable land management practices to prevent soil degradation.

Education

Experience
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in agronomy, preferably within a large-scale commercial farming or international agricultural research organization. Proven track record of managing field trials and leading technical teams is essential. Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa is a significant advantage.
Salary
