Job Overview

The Senior Laboratory Technician will play a critical role in our quality assurance department, ensuring that all raw materials and finished products adhere to strict safety and quality specifications. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced microbiological and chemical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
  • Maintain and calibrate sensitive laboratory instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Document all test results meticulously in accordance with ISO and company standards.
  • Investigate deviations in quality and recommend corrective actions to the production team.
  • Oversee the management of laboratory inventory and chemical reagents.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols within the laboratory.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in microbiological testing techniques and chemical analysis.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision in data recording.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Education

A Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline is mandatory. Professional certification in laboratory management is highly preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a food or beverage laboratory setting is required. Proven experience in quality control within a high-volume manufacturing environment is essential for success in this role.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 850,000 SSP to 1,200,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical expertise.
