We are currently seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our operations team in Mchinji. This role is critical to ensuring the continuous operation of our production lines and specialized machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of various industrial assets, ensuring they meet strict safety and efficiency standards. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct inspections of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components to identify potential failures before they occur.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements.
- Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance windows that minimize operational disruption.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols during all repair activities.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills for reporting technical issues to management.
Education
A minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline is required. Certification in specialized industrial maintenance or hydraulic systems is highly advantageous.
Experience
Candidates must possess at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance role within a manufacturing or heavy engineering plant. Proven experience with automated production lines is preferred.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 850,000 SSP to 1,200,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical certifications.
